Using GPS technology for public transport

    If we make use of already available GPS tracking solutions, we could improve the situation.

    With private buses it's not only a technology issue. Attitudes of the passengers need to change as well. Only then we can see an improvement. When a bus comes and everyone flocks to jump in as if it's the last bus on the route, they will pack like sardines.

    One day I had an argument with a long distance running bus picking up short distance fares while stopping at every halt while it's almost full.
    The argument got quite hot and not one single idiot supported or spoke a word. Eventually one girl stood up. Her boy was next to her and asked her to keep quiet. But she rebuked him to shut up and continued to speak, supporting me and also blasted the others for keeping silent.
