From the factory, the Charger SRT8 holds an updated 6.4-liter HEMI V8 producing more horsepower and torque than the previous 6.1-liter V8 HEMI. The estimated horsepower and torque ratings are 465 hp and 569 Nm of torque, however the specific figures will be announced upon the official introduction. New paddle-shifting technology joins the standard AutoStick, while the new Dodge Charger comes with a W5A580 five-speed automatic transmission.
