Built for the snow tracks, the Subaru WRX STi  Trax boasts 400 hp and was modified by Vermont SportsCar. Originally  for famous STi driver Ken Block, the Subaru features a Mattraks rubber  track system that comes second to none. The car has a completely gutted  interior that was fitted with a multipoint steel roll cage, and  seam-welded for extra support. Inside the Subaru Impreza are Recaro SPA ProRacer competition seats, carbon fiber door panels, and a fire suppression system. Made for the snow, Vermont SportsCar  included a Yakima FatCat 4 Snowboard Rack, Yakima Landing Pad rack base,  and DC Shoes XFB-C Snowboards. Under the hood is the stock  four-cylinder turbocharged 2.5-liter engine capable of producing 400 hp  and 400 ft lbs of torque with its MOTEC M800 ECU tuning. To power those  large rubber track wheels, Vermont SportsCar had to install a KAPS  5-speed dog-engagement gearbox which helps the Subaru DCCD (Driver  Controlled Center Differential).
