Shortlasting Silence (2005)

Note: "Lost and Found" is comprised of five short films and "Shortlasting Silence" is one of them. It starts at 54:15, if you want to watch only that one. I could cut and upload only that part, but then subtitles would be useless (since the subs are external; not hardcoded). The film is in Hungarian language and this is the only way to watch it with English subtitles. Subtitles can't be found anywhere else.
Description: Shortlasting Silence is the darkest of the five. It conveys themes of loneliness, suicide and incest in a story of a man going to visit his dead mother. It is done so tastefully that all the audience should feel is a shiver at the sinister atmosphere created when the psychologist is the victim of his own making. There is an unsettling empathy for the protagonist, who knows all the advice to give and yet cannot take it himself. There is a definite potential for this to develop into a feature film, as its themes, though well portrayed, are yet to be fully explored... but perhaps that is our role as the audience.

That Cold Day in the Park

A wealthy, lonely woman approaching middle age finds a mysterious young man, sitting on a park bench in the rain. She invites him in, and he accepts without a word. She assumes he is a mute and lets him spend the night. A strange relationship develops between the two, with the woman pampering him, barely concealing her sexual attraction, in contrast to his silent, uncaring acceptance. She locks his bedroom door at night, keeping him prisoner. But when he leaves his bed empty on the night that she attempts to seduce him, the young man soon learns who is in control of their relationship and how far the woman will go to keep it that way.
Note: The film's main theme is not incest but the strange games between a young man and an older woman. However, there are some incest scenes between the young man and his sister. First he watches her have sex. Then, in another scene they have a bath together. And later she tries to seduce him. But the main story about the older woman and the boy as her prisoner is more interesting.

Toys Are Not for Children (1972)

Jamie is a troubled young woman who grows up to be a prostitute in this sexually-charged drama that uses flashbacks to show the reasons why. Her overbearing mother never overcame her bitterness at having been abandoned by her husband, who had a thing for prostitutes. The story jumps to the present where Jamie is seen playing "baby" to her johns, whom she calls "daddy." She encourages them because it makes her feel closer to her real pa. One day, a lesbian colleague attempts to seduce her. Jamie rejects her, and the jilted girl gets revenge by setting her up with her own father...

the hairdresser's husband/Le mari de la coiffeuse (1990)

The film begins in a flashback from the titular character, Antoine. We are introduced to his fixation with female hairdressers which began at a young age. The film uses flashbacks throughout and there are frequent parallels drawn with the past. Though Antoine tells Mathilde that 'the past is dead', his life is evidence that on some level the past repeats itself. As a young boy he fantasised about a hairdresser who committed suicide and as a man in his 50s he begins an affair with a hairdresser which ends after ten years in her suicide. However there are differences, Mathilde commits suicide because she is so happy she is afraid of the happiness she has found with Antoine ending.
