You see, you can play NFSC with low settings on a 7300LE or something. But you can play NFS Underground 2 on it with a lot better details and effects. In the end, you will get a better experience out of Underground 2 because NFSC couldn't show that much of details and effects, even though NFSC is better than UG2.

I hope you understand what I'm saying. Gaming is not all about playing the latest game with lowest details. You have to get a pleasant experience out of it. These days, you need to have at least a 7600GT to get a good experience.

You can't compare Geforce 7 and 8. Geforce 7 will be far inferior to 8 because of zero support for dx10.

I don't know if you can remember; when Radeon 9700Pro was released, Geforce Ti4600 was the king and in most games those two cards were performing identically. Sometimes the Geforce Ti4600 could even pass the Radeon 9700Pro. Then came DX9 games. The Ti4600 card was nowhere to be seen. 9700Pro became the undisputed king in those games!!! Ti4600 was 2-3 time slower than 9700Pro. Same will happen to Geforce 7 with 8 cards when DX10 games come out. You know DX9 wasn't faster than DX8. It only gave better effects. But DX10 is actually MUCH faster than DX9 because of the revamped unified shader architecture, so the situation will be much worse than that example!!!

P.S.
There is no 8600GS. Only GTS and GT.

BTW 8600GTS is faster than or equal to 7950GT even in DX9c.

256MB. X800GTO.
This is not the best part. This is tweaked by me (gained 60% more performance)
But I won't be selling this until June. I won't sell it if I don't get a good deal either.
