Video Downloading

    Guyz, im really in trouble... When im tring to download a video file, it doesnt start downloading... it starts playing in windows media player.. what should i do to download the file????? please help me!

    right click da link and select 'save link as' in FF and 'save target as' in IE ;):D

    i tried.. when it's finished d'loading it doesnt work... besides this way down u have another way? do y'all are facing the same thing????

    YEa,,Sumtimes... But i dono how to avoid it...if ur usin Firefox.go to option n check,,Or From IE goto IE options.. N checkk ..but im not sure whether these workin or not..or else re install Firefox/IE..

    Ask Gazaly...May b he can help u...:(

    Yeah this happened to me lotz of time. Try to avoid it but couldn't find a way. So finally I gave up and let it fully open in WMP and then save it from there :)

    How to change action for file types

    Ok this is what u need to do.

    1. If ur using Fire Fox click Tools -> Options

    2. Click on the contents TAB and click on Manage (Manage File Types)

    3. Click On the File Type U need to Change (For a Example : If u need to stop a video file from playing select (AVI ; MPEG; MOV) )

    4. Click on Change Action

    5. Select SAVE TO MY COMPUTER

    6. This will make the Browser act as u want to when it meets a file type u specified.
