Personally I prefer NOD32, but Kaspersky is also pretty good.

If you check that virus guard test results, you’ll see that only NOD32 (ESET) and Kaspersky are having the Advanced+ (highest) rating with respect to both on demand scanning and (detecting known viruses) proactive scanning (which means the virus guard can even detect unidentified viruses by monitoring for any suspicious activities, for this they use advanced genetic and heuristic techniques) .

Therefore I only recommend NOD32 or Kaspersky.

I haven't used nod32 before.Bt kaspesky 2009 makes machine show and too much restrictions
