    My Dear ndnk

I think I can give you a helping hand

In the Institute that I am studing (APIIT) we were recommended to add two folders by the names "autorun.inf" and "autorun.ini".

Then right click on the each folder and under properties select "Read Only".

To be honest I am not fully aware of the mechanism behind this, even though this is supposed to prevent viruses entering Pen Drives through computers

I hope this would be helpfull

    Thank You

    thank u:D:D

    Thama math hoyanooo....
create a folder named autorun.inf. this will prevent the autorun of the virus being executed. apart from that use explorer to open. use win+E or press folders in my computer. if you are using vista doing this several times will automatically take you to explore mode.
select the drive from the left hand list and viewthe files. select to shpw all files and system files, and untick hide extension for known file types. then you will see the virus files. simply delete them and you are free to go....
