Can visa debit card from a local bank be used in Singapore?
If so, what's the maximum eligible payment?

If it is a international debit card, Yes (nowadays almost all cards are international debit cards). But before you fly contact your bank through hotline and enable it for your destination country on your traveling days, because by default, they have blocked for using it in foreign countries.

withdrawal limit is normally equal to your maximum daily LKR withdrawal limit. For withdrawal fees, refer websites of your destination country.

If this is your first time, It is better to call your card hotline and get a clarification of these

And as a safety measure, please take 2 cards from two banks. Because even the card is enabled sometimes/in some shops payments get failed.
