SP2 includes new support for recording Blu-ray discs straight from the Vista OS, updated support for Bluetooth v2.1 and bug fixes that address slow shutdowns and mysterious crashes. SP2 also fixes Wi-Fi issues when Vista awakes from sleep mode, and boosts performance of the Vista desktop sidebar gadget. That allows RSS feeds to perform better. SP2 is a whopping 348MB, and repairs nearly 700 nagging Vista bugs and security updates. It boosts power management efficiency with 10% so if you have hundreds of machines, it starts to become real money. SP2 also gives Vista support for exFAT, which handles larger files and it now allows you to use UTC timestamps so you can synch files across different time zones. SP2 and will be coming down to PCs via Windows Update within a few weeks. Vista SP1 is a prerequisite for SP2. Here is the MS knowledge Base article
