*Support games better...(for me)

played COD using maximum settings in vista ....but game slowed down in XP using same settings..

* DVD writing is much faster ...( i think sata drives are not properly configured in XP)

*Booting up is faster than XP....& everything is better for me:D..no probs ...:)

Note... I'm using both XP SP3 & Vista Ultimate SP 1 .....vista is far more better for me:)

:P booting up faster does no good(for me) if it loads the services and startup objects fast then its good. All windows versions boot up faster than linux distros released on the same time, that doesnt mean that windows is better than linux :)
If the maker of the game says that the game will run better on Vista it'll because it's made for vista and then ported for xp the computer will have to process the porting code too. 95,98,2000,xp and Vista still has windows 3.1 migration in the registry LOL tawa kochara parana kali tiyenawada dane na :P

    Correct!
Vista is much more faster with internet in the same LAN.
I dont know about fedora or obuntu, but its much faster than XP, I have experienced it!!!!

Additionally, after Vista, my computer works much faster. I have heard that Vista supports dual core better than XP does!!
Dont know whether it correct or not, but I am experiencing it!

So I like Vista and hope this thread will help Vista Users:)

    Thanx

If you want to make xp's internet faster just change the halfopen tcp/ip connection count from 5 to 500 :P then it'll too be faster, dual core processors are supported through the mobo drivers its a driver prob if vista runs faster ..it eats up RAM 400+mb for just to boot up the os and even tho you use the classic theme it'll only decrease 50mb from that....i've used ubuntu its good on the net took my router without drivers[xp needed drivers, vista will need too] the connection didnt EVER drop to 30KBps in windows it hapens sometimes it was always 50KBps - 64KBps in ubuntu....my connection is 512:(
