Vista + Ubuntu is dual boot supported?

there is a rumor that vista doesnt show it self in bootloaders that ship in with linux ...is this true?

No It must Work.. You can reinstall vista bootloader using EasyBCD.

You will have to remake MBR If it Over Written.. But Ubuntu 8.04 Installer will identify Vista without any problem...

no im just tryin to update the existing xp installation to vista may b i'll have to install ubuntu again im using ubuntu 8.04

Its better to run the windows as a virtual pc within the *Nix. then no need to dual boot or worry about upgrades overwriting MBR.

what is "*Nix"? somthing lyk VMware? Well that will result in a performance loss isnt it?
anyway vista is a RAM eater i only have 1gb ne so better stick with xp...otherwise i'd not b able to play even the games i now play in xp
