How to view Sinhala Sub-Titles in VLC

I'll briefly explain how to view Sinhala sub-titles in VLC player.

1. First make sure you have install Sinhala Unicode on your computer. (Otherwise follow the instruction in this link.)
http://www.siyabas.lk/sinhala_how_to_install.html

2. Make sure there are Sinhala fonts installed on your computer. (eg: Iskola pota, Bhashitha)

3. Open VLC player and go to, Tools -> Preferences. Then select the Subtitles & OSD option. Then, set the default encoding to Universal (UTF-8) and set the Font to a Sinhala Font. (eg: Iskola Pota)

4. Save the settings and restart VLC player.

Now you can load and View Sinhala sub-titles in VLC player. :D
