this is a pretty old movie which released in 2005...bt brilliantl

This is taken from comics by Frank Miller & converted to a masterpiece by the Warchasky bros who directed Matrix..

The story is set in the future where the entire country is ruled by the government in a totally directorship rule... if the media talks against government that person is arrested, tortured & put in jail..everything is censored (seems familiar ? )...

V is a revolutionary who wants to change the system... when he sees Evey (Natalie Portman) he says "People should NOT be Afraid of their Government bt the Government should be afraid of its people"

And further on the film it shows how terrorists can brainwash people to totally belive in their cause & do not care about their lives & totaly willing to die for it'..scary..

there were huge criticism for this film saying it straight forwardly & unshamelessly promotes terrorism.. I do not agree..some of the scenes in this movie will make your hair rise up & will make you think deeply on some issues we are facing right now in Sri Lanka..
