mm.. First I think Mahela was very unlucky to loose the toss. Dambulla pitch always had something for fast bowlers in the morning sessions.

Secondly I don't think this batting line up is correct.

Sanga should not open. He's our best batsmen and we should play him at no 3. Malintha Warnapura should open with Sana from the next ODI onwards. Chamara Silva has to make way for him cos any way we need to play 5 bowlers as we don't have the luxuary of Farveez Maharoof for this series. Malintha was one of the inform batsmen in the previous test series and he's not a slow run getter either.

It is the batting that let us down today.. Hope the boys will comeback strongly in the next game..

This should be the line up for the next ODI if Vass is 100% Fit..

i agree wid ya blood_brotha...even i think dat warnapura should open da innings wid sana n i want highlight 1 more point fernando hasn't been bowling well fer us quite sum tye nw so i think he should nt b in 1st 11..n chamara silva also out of form. there are lot f stuff 2 think abt as far as batting concern besides dat v have da world best bowling side wid maha n malinga in..i dnt think v should worry abt bowling at da moment but it's high tye as far as batting concern..

hmm as for fernando well he hasnt really had a lot of games to play in since he got back from recovery after his surgery... but i think he bowled pretty well in his second spell yesterday. wasnt too pleased with chamara silvas form and yea sanga has got to be 1 down.. and i think warnapura is a good opening partner for sana... vaas well if u check he hasnt had a good run eeither hes struggling with different levels of performance in matches... as for malinga.. havent been hearin any good news abt him.. hope its not true but well see dont expect to see him anytime soon though...

i think da turning point 2day z Thhushara's dismissal,he was batting well,when he got out with playing a stupid shot,he tried 2 play that shot in da last over 2.Mahela had 2 inform him 2 calm down at that stage,bt he didnt do it

Then da wickets had fallen very fast.f he stayed for another 5-10 overs,we definitely score more than 175

and other reason z dhoni-badrinath partnership and kohli's valuable 35,f kohli got out cheaply den we could win the match
