watching a video that is on the computer

hey can anyone please explain me how to watch a video which is in the computer to be played on my tv.

i have a laptop model is Asus F5RL

please tell me the cables, the connections and the settings in need to do
links would also be useful

and my very old tv has only 3 ports
audio in video in and the antenna port

so can i watch video that is on my computer

That depends...
But if your TV out Port is S-Video (like in many older notebooks)
Then all you need is a S-Video to AV Cable...
You can get this from basically any Electronic Store.. (I hope)
