Instead of In ceasing Vat they should have reduced it to 5%. Our broad band bill went hay wire from 3367.37 to approximately 4000 with lankabell. The government should not suck poor people's blood in order to back up inefficient state enterprises they should privatize them similar to Saudi Arabia. They sold highly profit making Aramco in order to create new enterprises in the kingdom. The government is very greedy. They do not understand if holding on to assets which does not make the country prosperous. Why under the management of Emirates, Sri Lankan Airlines was profitable. Because when their lease was over they sold the plane in order to hire more planes. They had proper marketing strategy. Nincompoop who studied in useless government university with obsolete materials is running the Airlines. Give the airline to one who is a managing director of Britsh Airways , they will run it properly.  That is what they do in Emirates, Ethihad Oman Air and Qatar Airways. Look how successful they are? Government should hold portfolio of stocks in home and abroad. Instead of holding on to companies which are useless. </blockquote>
