Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces. Showers may extend to Puttalam and Kurunegala districts too.
Thundershowers will develop at a few places in the Eastern and Uva provinces during the afternoon or evening.
Southwestern monsoonal winds over the Island will strengthen at times.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize the damages caused by lightning activities.
