I'm Really sorry to say .... But I must say this. Because of this cheep Software and web Designers the software Engineer job is in a danger position. Our company also demanding us according to this cheep Software and web Designers. Because they think our job also can do it according to this.

Freelancing is ok. But don't be cheep. Keep your demand and keep the status of the Field. Don't ever and never do your job ලාබෙට. Always try make good money. Because if your are going cheep others in the field also in a trouble.

Well totally agree with u bro. Bt r8t nw we jst need to Stand Alone. But dnt 4get the quality of work is not tht much diff frm standard companies . One more thing lots of sw n web development companies are owned to foreign peoples and foreign companies . Bt this is totally SL product . Bt very disappointed to say is lots of people refused to giving helping hand Bt we cn involved for more than couple of projects frm elakiri members

True machan. If you really want to get some attraction to your business, go and collect some of the reviews from business people out there. It's difficult to get your projects first but trust me, it really worth doing so.

Most of the Sri Lankans need to get the job done for cheap machan.They are OK with paying top money for TV advertisements and all the crap but for web sites. Don't be silly to offer your service for cheap. If you do have skills and if you are confident, try to make some standard. At least an hourly rate. You will never loss business from real valuable customers as they understand what you do and why they pay top money. Also, if you take top money from someone and deliver any flash or cheap crap, you gonna have a bad time. Wish you all the best!

Yeah we went to school and spend years for this set of skills, and what comes of our creativity and time. say you design a website for dirt cheap like 8000 or so, you visit the customer 10 times because of their stupid calls for nothing, which is clearly a waste of your money, and see how much you actually earn per job after the all hard work you put in.
