Former Sri Lanka cricketer Sidath Wettimuny has been appointed president of the newly-formed interim committee of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), the island's sports minister Navin Dissanayake announced today.
The SLC AGM to elect new officials was scheduled to take place on April 30 but Dissanayake said that the elections will no longer take place.
