if importing brand new 1 to lk thn thr will be no much difference in tax........

but thr is a special permit for ppl who work in abroad........you must register it in the country you work and use it for over year or so...(don't remember the time).....then you can import it to sl as your vehicle with that permit........witch reduce tax and duty considerably..................
