But in writers defense the technology Tauri dealing with was far far beyond their understanding. Mostly what they did was trail and error. Writers came up with a good theory to support this. These four races have been roaming universe 50 million years ago. So Alterans, Nox, Asgard and Furlings scientists pretty much had all the time in the universe to perfect and develop their technology to a level where our scientists would seem like a bunch of cave men with hunting clubs. We are infants compered to them in the universe.
