What are UPnP and NAT-PMP Port Mapping?

Whar are UPnP and NAT-PMP Port Mapping? which can be found on preferences of uTorrent. Can anyone explain what they are.

NAT-PMP means

Network Address Translation Port Mapping Protocol....

So you need to give the NAT IP address. But this happens when you are accessing the Internet from a office or a place where you are using NAT. (Maybe a cafe even)

So ask the admin what is the IP address of NAT gateway

UPnP means Universal Plug and Play
It allows peer to peer communication in a much efficient manner..

hmmm.... UPnP nam enable kalaata kamak naha theory widihata nam machang..

But no need to enable the NAT-PMP coz you are not using NAT conversions ne...
