This suggests that one must first HAVE an opportunity to embrace Islam and THEN, upon his or her own informed understanding, free will, and free choice refuse to embrace it before that person is at risk of condemnation on this basis.  The Qu’ran says:  Surely, those who believe [in Islam], those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who believes in GOD, and believes in the Last Day, and leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.
