I always think that the problem in SL cannot be solved by war alone or by a political solution alone.

Leading Tamil politicians never appreciates that they are a minority and should be treated like a minority. What they want is equal power status with Sinhalese, and predictably Sinhalese will not like it.

So the political solution have to be given when the terror has ended. That will teach the Tamil politicians that they'll never get a separate state with military activity and will be forced to be flexible. The political solution that MR or any other person putting forward have to address the problems of ordinary Tamil people, not there leaders. This will minimize the capabilities to provoke tamil people by their politicians.

Macho, hi speed jets walin guerrilla wars dinanna baha. You need to detach the terrorists from it's people and of supplies. Army could not act as killers or cause genocides as LTTE does. We can defeat LTTE, but we cannot defeat tamil people, because they are also lke us. But we can definietly defeat the f***ing tamil leaders and the concept of a tamil homeland for sure.
