Guys and girls,
What do u think about having Indian Actresses in the films directed within Sri Lanka? I am no expert on this, nor I am even remotely attached to the film industry . But as I see it, this will increase competition to the Sri Lankan actresses and in a way will de -motivate them.
We all complain that the Sri Lankan film industry is no where near Bollywood but yet it seems we dig our own graves. True that all these Indian actresses are quite talented and will result in better entertainment for the viewers. Yet I think we should admire what we have and build up on them. I have absolutely no grudge with the people who made these films (In fact Im looking forward to watching them ).

So I want you people to share the ideas.

Yeah True that it has an impact on our own actors...........It might be a bit de-motivating on the side of the local actors, but it will definitely ignite them to do well...Mostly the purpose of a film is to attract crowds and generate revenue......It's good for the film industry as well........Another plus point is we might be able to penetrate the Indian market with these films........Indian market is humongous but in the longer run we can open avenues to explore that market as well..........

This would definitely help us to improve our current standards as well.......

Overall i believe this is a good move...........

thanks for the comment, but are you sure that we will be able to penetrate the Indian market with these films? Have any film being showed in India so far. Or for that matter atleast a foreign country?

well.... y only indian? directors n producers shd select the appropriate actresses n actors according to the role - not regarding if there from SL, bolly, holly or lolly...
