Usually Internships are given  for a period of 6 months or 1 year. (There are internships at MIT and many other companies in Sri Lanka. They publish  those vacancies at their website. Go to their careers section). During that particular period the intern has to undergo a training of the overall development process. Internships are good for undergraduates as it will be beneficial for  their career development.</blockquote>
