    1. Its because of Buddhists have given a special value to a full moon day according the lunar calender(may be its the gravity of moon or something) anyway its special to them its more of culture and a date specially set for religious activities and this doesnt mean that Buddhists dont do any religious observances on other days tho

    2. We do not actually worship lord Buddha its just showing our respect and "shraddhawa" in his Dhamma we dont worship him as a god but as a teacher

    3. World is just a tiny part of a very big universe that the human brain cant even think of so thinking only about human population here isnt gonna work and Buddhism says that animal "bhawa"(lives) are possible too no one will be human in all lives it depends on their karma and final thoughts @ death

    1. As Jack_Sparrow said, we're not forced to go to the temple on poya days.
However, Buddhists go to the temple to do religious events.

    2. As Jack_Sparrow said, we're not forced to worship lord Buddha, & we've religious freedom. So we don't worship as praying a God.
However, Buddhists worship & tribute lord Buddha for teaching us the proper way in life.
We do this ourselves coz we're not forced.

    3. According to Buddhism, It's similar to a big theory. It's working as a cycle. I don't know much about it. Someone may answer ur question. Some times this thread may help u. :D

if i am not mistaken lord buddha has told "in order to attain Nirvana you need to give up the desires for worldly life".But where will be the practical line.We all eat drink and dress for survival.can you explain the boundaries of these desires? And how could a person practically do this?

How can you define the boundaries of "can do's" and "cannot do's" in Buddhism?

Ive Heard that Lord Buddha has told that if a person gives up the desires for worldly life he will attain nirwana? But How practically could one attain this if the boundaries of this is not clearly defined?

    thanks

Its your decision to do what you want; Buddhism only advices to do the right thing, do the wrong and you'll experience the consequences thats all
normal laymen cant attain nirvana by living normal lives it should be changed accordingly we all have desire its just discipline that keeps us from doing the wrong

Buddha never say give up desires.. this is what everybody thinks!

Buddhism is based upon "cause and effect" as long as you creating causes there will be effects!

Can you explained to me what "boundaries" should be there as you think?

As for Buddhists... Dharma is there to guide them so basically Dharma is - Right Behavior

you'll have to follow the 8 fold path firstly as a foundation to attain nirvana meditation and lots of good karma is needed(to keep you in a "bhawa" path that leads to nirvana) more info is on that site i gave u

What I mean by boundaries are the things that you should do and shoudnt do inorder to attain nirwana.

BTW What is Dharma...who has narrated it and how can it give the solution for my question above???

    THanks
