Around the world best paid people are Anesthesiologists, Surgeons etc.. who are in the medical field. Related fields like genetic engineering etc.. also well paid.
They are paid more than some hired CEOs of big companies.

Then Airline pilots, Lawyers, Sales/Marketing Managers etc.. down the chain.

Generally IT people are paid well too but comparing with above jobs their salaries are very small.
