I've been in Ananda College for 13 years and i've learnt far more than just "lessons" in there. I'm in anc at the moment and lemme tell you except for 1 or 2 guys, all the other people from so called international schools are utter idiots! no offense but some of'em don't even know how to find the area of a trapezium. they have absolutely no knowledge about maths nor science nor history. there was this one instance where a bugger asked me "machan what's ruwan vali maha saya? is it a tank or something??" and adding to that they have no sense of respect to their teachers, elders or in this case lecturers. they just go on paying no respect at all. It's just sad. I'm not telling all the international school students are like this, but most of them are like this. By being in local schools we learnt how to work hard, we learnt about determination and dedication, we learnt about how to respect the teachers and we learnt about our traditions and cultures. I do not see any of that in international students.
