What is the point in investing in Colombo stock exchange when you cant take money out

What is the point in investing in Colombo stock exchange when you can not take money out of the country. Where business people are treated and called criminals. Just because they take money out of the country. They did not steal it.

Ask any Western Union you can send money into the country but not out.

I am a Sri lankan . But I live abroad . Stupid system.

sri lanka has that system to stop people from sending foreign currency out of the country

in sri lanka you can have millions but you cant take it abroad

you can only take money out of country for medical reasons (operation etc.) or foreign studies
