OK... I need to send laptop to sri lanka from UK. Value around £800.

Don't mind paying taxes but don't want item to stuck in customs. I need currier to send it strait to receivers home and collect the tax bill.

Whats the best currier for me. I heard DHL handle all the custom clearance and deliver direct to receiver.

DHL and TNT both can handle taxes. I beleive you have the option to prepay the taxes.

For the value you described, you're looking at a minimum of 120GBP in taxes. I would say you would be charged NBT, VAT, Handling charges plus shipping charges which would come to around 300GBP.

Your best bet would be to find someone who would be able to take to SL by hand.
