I wasn't talking in terms of protection. I don't think Norton's virus protection is bad. It's fine. Just that, Symantec includes a lot of bloat with Norton.

    :lol: Yeah, but i have disabled some bloats @ startup, I know still a lot of unwanted stuff are thr......

    Even Symantec Antivirus, which is far better than Norton in terms of effectiveness and speed (but lacks in the GUI area because this is for corporate customers), has about 4 processes running all the time :S

    I installed it today, and it didn't last long. Quickly switched back to NOD32 :D

    I scanned my downloads folder using NOD32 and Kaspersky, and NOD32 took only 12 seconds and used ~30MB RAM and Kaspersky wasn't finished even after 1 minute and was using ~90MB!!! :shocked:

    Yeah, trouble with all Symantec products are processes (only sm are loaded @ start-up)

    Giv me a link (IDM Resume supported one) 4 NOD32...
