My PowerTree S600B is dieing (can't keep the PC running for more than 2 minutes) and I need a new one. I just want to know what you are using, what capacity, how long it can hold the PC on, price and more importantly, where to buy one. There aren't that many reviews on UPS' because people in developed countries hardly get a power failure unlike here. So this time, I can't rely upon the reviews. I need your feedback.

    Where I'm now
Except for battery backup other features r in my PSU so I dont use one.

Pasan ur UPS can hold ur PC for about 35 mins max to the details I knw about ur PC.
    eg:-
    I P4 3.4 with HT 2MB
    Intel mobo
    2GB DDR 400
    nVidia GF 5850 256 MB GPU[It is actually a large one costs two PCIs fancy drawings,coolers backside heatsinks}
    120 EIDE 7200rpm+200 SATA 7200 rpm
    17' philips

In 3DS MAX rendering pasans'UPS hold up for about slightly>15 mins.

    UF., Gampaha.
My Vendor said Mercury & PowerTree are same in Quality & Back-up time.
He uses a PowerTree one. So I forced to buy a PowerTree one.
Because He doesn't use hardware carelessly...

I know Mercury brand is crap! I didn't say I was looking for a Mercury branded UPS.

Does anyone here use a Patriot Viper UPS. I'd like to hear some feedback on them.

I don't care about the switching time if it doesn't reset the PC.
Anyway, I'll research more about APC ones.

Where did you buy it from? Quantum Teleshopping da?
Don't they have larger capacity ones. 300W is a bit too low (on efficiency).
