When I run HD Tunes on my old Maxtor 40GB HDD I get this.

What's the error highlighted yellow?

total noob to linux so please bear with me. i had win xp installed on my computer and out of bordum i decided to install linux (UBUNTU 7.10) i did some research (but apparently not enought) and installed linux. I loaded UBUNTU 7.10 from the live CD, installed it. No drama, leather thongs at the end of the installation a prompt box asked me if i would like to restart and remove the cd or continue with the live session. so i chose restart, but everytime i boot my computer i get a "GRUB Hard Disk Error" (no " ") with no error code, no menu just a black background with white writing and meaningless dos computer jargon which every computer jargon. Atlanta EdiscoveryI downloaded the ISO image file (x86 architecture, PentiumTM, CeleronTM, AthlonTM, SempronTM) from this site Download Ubuntu | Ubuntu and burnt it to a cd using Alcohole 120%.
