What's wrong in my computer

For the last 2 weeks my computer is showing problems......when i on the computer the hard disk doesn't start...monitor shows its on standy by.....hard disk doesn't start.....i hav to on and off atleast three times to get it started...


from last week...if i on the switch and keep it on stand-by for about 5 mins then on it...then it works...

whats wrong?

it seems to be an issue with your main board, anyway check all the connections from front panel to M/B are intact. Also it might be a problem with your power supply, if previous one does not works, try changing the power unit.

i didn't remove any cables recently....are you sure its a problem with power supply....

one said its a problem in the motherboard....one said hardware problem...

Your power supply unit is ok. also main board has no any problem. Fist Remove cmose battery and fix again .If not working this way Reassemble gain.

if i on the switch and on da computer in 5 mins..thn it works...can giv it to a computer shop...they will tell to bring it and keep there for a week to see wats the prob is

i tried removing the cmos battery also...didn't work

not again....jst more than 2 years since i changed it....warranty is over...

why is that...if its a prob in the motherboard...it should not work forever....this works with no prob once its on
