Why Srilanka is not progressing as compared to many countries which were far behind us some years ago? Ours is a country with a rich culture and resources sufficient enough alone for our own development. So the problem lies somewhere in our own hands. Have the people who are really concerned about motherland done any thing meaningful and workable to make our country a pleasant place to live in content and peacefully?
To me it's the deteriorated dicipline from top to bottom in our strata of the society. How can we ingress the required dicipline to our society. Would it happen just by leaving it to the time to come by or just listening to speeches of those who keep venison in stomachs?
When we work abroad we witness how the westerners manage their large projects. The secret is the dicipline by way of dedication and good attitude and correct management. It runs from the individual personal decipline to the dicipline of the company and ultimately to the apex of government. If any body does anything wrong he/she would be dealt strictly with the established rules and regulations. Why the Srilankans cannot do it? Please discuss.
