is it necessary that everybody must believe in something?

ive gone on living not believing in anything ..not even in myself ..it's not easy..in that sense, there's no hope neither a will to live :) one must believe in something even if one denies it he secretly, may be subconsciously does believe in something ..may it be his will to find some peace of mind yet that is something he believes in, the bloody happiness.

but Buddhists believe whatever they are supposed to believe even without any evidence right?? like those stuff that Lord Buddha did

so if you not believe in god, still you can be as a Buddhist.. coz the god concept is not a part of Buddhist philosophy...

if you not believe god (due to not having evidences to prove) , you cant be believer of Hindu, Islam, RC&C teachings... but still you can be as a Buddhist since its not Buddhism... you can only follow the teaching of load Buddha without "දෙවියන්ට පින් නොදි"....

there's no such believing ins in buddhism..it's all rational and perfectly sensible..as a matter of fact it's christianity and most other religions that force their followers to believe their holy books with no apparent clue as to their accuracy. :)

yes i do believe science, within the framework that everything can be possible wrong, and be falsifiable.. so believing something in science is quite different from believing something in religion..

i'm telling this as someone who happened to have earned a major in physics

you don't believe in science..science is just right ..believing in is something like having faith ..believing in something without proper proofs to it..in science you get every proof in a silver plate. so does science qualify? i think not..
