True Detective Season 2

7/10 - No where close to season 1. But overall the characters were well portrayed.

Attack on Titan part 1

Nowhere near as good as the anime the movie is based on. Weird thing, in the anime there's only one asian character while in the movie, the entire cast is Japanese.
Part 1 introduces the main characters and the general plot so here's hoping that part2 which is due to be release in September, actually does a better job at telling the story.
As an action/horror movie, its pretty good even with the somewhat sub par CGI but compared with the rich source material, they could've easily done a much a better job.
