Can a movie be awesome just by fancy cgi without well developed characters and a good plot? Well obviously no right? What if I tell you there can be exceptions for that? What if I tell you Pacific Rim could be a perfect example for that? I mean I could bitch about the shallowness of the characters, unrealistic plot, non causal reasoning, blah blah,,,But the graphics man...... they've seemed to vanquish any kind of crap you throw at them. It just seemed awesome. Gave quite an adrenaline rush, especially the fights with aliens. So should you watch it, despite the fact that its poor plot, poor acting and all the other fails? YES! Who doesn't want to see giant robots whooping alien asses? And finally a big thanks to the dear technology for saving this movie from what once appeared to be a catastrophe that may well create a tsunami capable of devastating the north Atlantic seabed.So yeah, I'd give it a good 7.5/10 (7.8 to be more specific <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/frown.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":frown:" title="Frown    :frown:" data-shortname=":frown:" /> )</blockquote>
