Contact and Solaris are hardcore sci fi films and Interstellar follows the same. In terms of Sci Fi, its up there with Contact and on par with 2001. In terms of cinematography, I doubt anyone can match Kubrick regardless of the technology used. I see the infuence of a lot of Clerk's Space Oddissy series in Interstellar but it could be because the books covered the same topics first.All in all, its a great Sci Fi movie.</blockquote>
