its a remake of the Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. Though not a direct remake as it also acts as an origins story for the whole Planet of the Apes story line.

    It doesn't completely fit isn't it ?
    AFA I can remember
In the first film, a guy travel through time to the future and find himself among advanced apes. And there wasn't any such Apes in the present.
When he return he find his present is being reigned by apes.

May be apes were hiding in his present time and surfaced after his depart to the future.
Or he came back to a parallel universe or shit

Anyway I take this film as a success. Its good :)

nope, Ive a problem with good always triumphing

You're mixing up the Mark Walhberg movie with the original Planet of the Apes movie series.
