    * 'I saw the Devil'......I would say has the most unique concept:yes: for a revenge movie..........in most revenge flicks you'll find the Protagonist chases the villain till the climax & killing him at the end, where as in 'I saw the Devil'..............I dont like to spoil your fun:P watch it.........:lol:
    BTW, same Director of 'A Bittersweet Life'

    * 'Sympathy for Mr.Vengeance' is the part 1 of Chan-wook Park's vengeance trilogy.....2nd old boy & 3rd Lady vengeance......

    dude, that bittersweet life director has some nice films to his name A tale of two sisters and The good, The bad and the weird :rofl: so this may be something nice.

    and I don't realize why Vengeance trilogy is a trilogy while they are not interconnected. think Park chan wook is my favorite korean director for Joint security area and thirst :P

    One of Lars von triers early films I always wanted to see, it's on par with most beautifully filmed ever creating such an atmosphere with the aid of mindblogging Tarkowsy-like cinematography. though the story might not be very coherent, the film keeps you intrigued just by the use of visuals and moving camera work.
    as always, Von trier does it.

    Suddenly came across with Sadda Haq song of "Rockstar" which made me think of the movie again.

    I think its only fair to say that Indian directors & script writers lost a unique opportunity to create an epic masterpiece.
    Music was at best acting was at its best but the rest just didnt come along :(

    If you ever manage to refine the crap you may see a faint and blurry yet wonderful journey that this movie walks us through from playful cub to wasted matured.

    Such a waste of that awful lot of resources. :S :S

    I told my self that 'contentment is bliss' while I'm watching this, it's not a huge disappointment though. It's just that I expected more. Sure, Clooney's acting is good, and that quasi-retarded kid is fun. Movie is about letting go, forgiving the sinned, and importantly take care of your loved ones, because in the end of the day they are all you got.
