Colombo Fort Magistrate Ms. K. S. Lanka Jayaratne today remanded a suspect of HICORP, a company allegedly owned by the son-in-law of Presidential candidate General Sarath Fonseka, until January 20.
The suspect who is said to have acted as a director of the said company was arrested for allegedly cheating public money by presenting forged documents to the Sri Lanka Army, while the company was supplying equipment.
The CID informed court that that the alleged scam would exceed Rs.25,000 and therefore they are filing this case under the provision of Public Property Act. The CID had also seized several computers and other equipment which belonged to the suspect and moved to produce those computer data to the IT Unit of the Colombo University.

‘Hicorp’ web site hacked to sling mud at General

The web site www.hicorp.us has been hacked. At the moment a harangue that appears to look like a statement by Danuna Tilekeratne, the son-in-law of Gen. Sarath Fonseka has been published by the hackers. This has been published to give an impression that Mr. Tilekeratne is the president of ‘Hicorp.’

When ‘Lankatruth’ inquired from Mr. Tilekeratne he said he had no connection whatsoever with that organization and he did not issue such a statement. He added that his lawyers were taking legal action regarding this matter.

Meanwhile a spokesman for ‘Hicorp’ said their web site has been hacked and it would be corrected soon.

There is talk within media circles that there could be some connection between the production of documents in Parliament on the 5th and at the cabinet meeting to link Gen. Fonseka to arms deals and hacking of the website.

The announcement published in the website is published here:

    In the attic...
one person saying its a fake director...others saying the site was hacked....

my my...lots of theories no....but no evidence....

this seems to be like the time SF went and release the secrets abt the rebel leaders being shot....then retract it coz he lost support and didn't go as he planned...

now they wanted son-in-law to be guilty party so they put that on the site...and it back fired and now all this....

do i have proof for this...? as much proof has given in this thread...to defend SF:lol::lol::lol:

ah yes here we go.... what we want to know is who is the person who was arrested. It's unlikely there was any name suppression. Whoever it was, be it SF's son in law or someone else, people should know. There was no theory but merely news stories highlighted from Daily Mirror and lankatruth.com. Dont' get your panties in a twist....
