But if you have an eligible relative to sponsor you, you will get 10 points for that as well, which means you still can apply with your each 6 result because, 10 points are claimed from that sponsorship. But if you get sponsored by an eligible relative, your visa category will be changed to "sub class 489 Skilled Provisional" which gives you a period of 4 years to remain in Australia but you can apply for PR after that. If you apply with your own qualifications and IELTS etc, you will the get the direct PR, which is known as Skilled Independent 189.</blockquote>
