Why are our people like this??

So many shops and banks nearby, why cant one of them aid by giving a fire extinguisher?

because it's not their property, unless the owner of the shop it will charge from their pocket ?

You think shop owners wouldn't have lent a fire extinguisher if they had one at their disposal?

There should have been atleast 2 minutes prior to this, were they could have done some quick thinking. There definitely should be some sort of fire extinguisher in the shops nearby. In the recent I've seen so many Tuk's catching fire, if this continues there will need to carry a small fire extinguisher with them at all times.

i wish they would, maybe it took couple of minutes to burn to the ground and there were no enough time to find a one ..

In my experience , srilankans are very helpful, especially in situations like this.
