why cant they make a touch and go system like malaysia ? we are living in 2022

Conductors and drivers don't like it because they cannot steal with such a system. If you remember, there were several attempts to make this kind of thing work, but everytime they gradually got disappeared cuz conductors didn't like them.. I clear remember once a conductor shouting to the entire bus that he won't accept pre paid cards. Then, how can we go forward with this?

It's a waste of time to even thinking about talking about them. I don't really see anyone with a backbone to take these kind of decisions despite the protests of selfish people. SL policy makers just want to live comfortable and secure their voter base for the next election.

In SG there is no profession called a conductor. Everyone gets in from the front and if you don't tap your card at the door you will get glared till you do .

Then when you get down no one gives a shit about tapping because you will get deducted anyway and the door is in the middle.
