The future is not with AMD or Intel processors. Basicly because they support x86 CISC. It consumes more power, expensive, inefficent, slower execution of instruction.
Intel and AMD should join hands and get rid of x86 instruction set and become RISC processors. Otherwise the way the OS Market is going we will be running ARM based Desktops and Laptops.
Android is much better loved OS than Windows.Both companies will be decemated.Lower power consumption , cheaper processor, faster execution with RISC
