First, Sri lanka already in the Semis and there is no need for us to give free batting practice for Australia... Aussies know deep down in their minds that the most challenging 3 bowlers of all time in SL line up are Murali, Malinga & Vaas and they would have love to have a pre-final practice against them... I think SL did the right thing!!!

Aussies are going tough at the moment and if any team can stop them its SL and they know it well, we need to play smart......

They knew we couldn't post a total onboard which, even with the full bowling attack, we couldn't defend

You cannot make judgments just like that, the situation was different.... The winning combination of SL was not on display that might have effected the batters as well...

On the other hand, decisions like Sanga's LBW was bit unlucky.... and you may never know what will happen until it happens, they've never faced Malinga... which will haunt them till the final!!!

niway sri lanka is qualified to the semi finals. and if we played malinga vass n murali.. the aussi's would get some batting practice for these bowlers. But if we meet them in the finals or the semifinals and we played them since they did not play this game. IT would be a bit hard to the aussies to play these players sice they didnt get the chance to play them..And malinga has not played against the aussies
