Hey guyz let me give you the true idea of what is happening in this country!
You guys call LTTE terrorists, but you guyz have no idea how the SLA harasses our people in the north and east. Its just that the MCNS censors everything so that you people wont know what happened. For instance, look at the bombing on the day of the CWC finals. The government said that none of the bombs exploded, but afterwards they say that they managed to put out the fire quickly. If no damn bomb exploded, then why the heck would you want to put out some fire!
In some earlier posts, I read that the sinhalese people are not free to go to north - east! But that is not so, you could have always come to our land and we would have welcomed you very warmly, but you bunch were so scared to leave your places and now you, for no damn reason, just cry that you dont have the freedom to go to NE.
As for our freedom to come to colombo, even though you guyz allow us to come here, like eelalan said, we are harassed really badly! If any of you have ever noticed, if a sinhala or muslim person does not have an NIC at a check point, the police or SLA at the check point just give them a small lecture and let them off. But, if it is a tamil, they will go on asking all foolish questions and trying to harass us and sometimes even take us to jail!
Really, the SLA are also a bunch of terrorist, they keep shooting everything down, like our theatres, libraries and what not, but the fact is, you guyz are never aware of it because the government censors everything. DId you guys know that recently, SLA had raided a tamil newspaper office in Jaffna and taken all the photos that they had? You know why that was?? Because they were scared that people will get to know about the horrifying things that they are doing!
And, moving over to Karuna, he, as EELALAN said, is a black sheep, greedy for power. The fact that Prabakharan gave him full control of the East shows how much trust and faith he had in him, and as repayment, he decides to leave the LTTE, the org which made him a man!
So people, they are indeed freedom fighters. You should see the security that we have over there, they have a big infrastucture and everuthing imaginable, except for a seperate currency and passports.
So GUYZ AND GALZ, I hope I have cleared our position on this whole war and hope you will wake up to the real world!
